DESIGN PROCESS
Getting to Know Your Brand
Before design work can begin, I like to get to know the brand a little better. If you don't know how to describe your brand yet, that is okay too! I am here to guide you through the brainstorming process to define your brand goals.
How would you describe the target audience for your store?
"30-50 year olds, no-nonsense people - primarily women shopping for themselves. Customers who value quality but are also more middle-class and prefer affordability over luxury."
Let's talk materials. What do you make your earrings out of?
"I use non-plastic materials like Czech glass and Austrian crystal. I also use natural wood, never fake. I use gold and silver plated and filled ear wires"
What inspired your brand name: Dr. B's Bling?
"I was a mathematics professor for many years, which inspired the 'Dr.' part of the name. The 'Bling' comes from the sparkle of the Austrian crystals I use."
What keywords represent your brand?
Affordable | Quality
Authentic | Precision
Geometry | Professor
Sparkle | Colorful
Proof One
Proof One includes three distinct design ideas and color palettes. The goal here is to go in a few diverse directions to see what the client gravitates towards.
Proof Two

Proof Two includes a new design incorporating the client's feedback. In Proof 1, the client loved Option 2 but preferred the color palette from Option 3.
Proof Three
Proof Three includes the final designs vectorized for scalable use. It also includes a branding guide with your colors, fonts, and design styles laid out.
Sometimes, it takes more than 3 proofs to get to the final result. This is normal! I am committed to creating a brand you will love and discover what that looks like together.
